August 23: Finally, with exactly 4,300 miles on the bicycle's odometer, standing on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C., tears of immense joy poured down my face as I realized for a moment just how privileged I had been to share in this once-in-a-lifetime journey. The journey of (much) discovery has ended. But, truthfully, it will never really end. And I hope others are somehow inspired by this little snap-shot of life's journey.
