May 30: This is a fairly typical view from along the Loneliest Road. There is no water or any services at all between these tiny Nevada villages, so we have to carry enough with us, making the load that much heavier. I can bring about 140 oz. total, which is empty by the end of the day. This really makes it difficult to camp in the desert, at least traveling by bike.
