May 23: Here I am wearing lots of layers to keep warm. The temps are still cold (in the 30s). The difficulty under these conditions is that I'd overheat during the steep mountain ascents and saturate the bottom layers of clothing with sweat. Then on the descents I'd shiver uncontrollably.
