June 3: Cathedral Gorge as seen from my tent. The remaining miles to the campground were surprisingly hilly, but the last 5 miles or so to the park were all down hill. It was still morning when I pulled my "2-wheeled, self-propelled RV" into the lovely grounds. This is a small campground with just 22 sites, and very nicely spaced. I found one under a couple of trees with a view of the gorge to the west. After setting up I prepared a pot of lentiles, carrots, and pasta. It tasted delicious, as I was famished. With 2 days of sweat and dirt accumulated on my body, the hot showers called next. Somewhat refreshed, I was still very tired, so I read for a while, and took a little nap. Hey, why not?
