June 4: The morning dawned bright and clear, I couldn't wait to explore the gorge. By 7 a.m. I was on my way, realizing that the afternoon temperatures would be well above 100 degrees here in the Nevada desert. The gorge proved to be awe-inspiring, and as you'll soon see, I took plenty of pictures to document the hike. Following are just a few.
