May 31: After the climb up there's usually a nice ride down the other side, where you can prepare to do it all over again. There were to be 4 major summits today, and the wind today is, well, in the face. A head wind is much more difficult than the mountains. Today was to cover nearly 80 miles, and the temperatures were now in the 90s, and the sun was hot.
