June 14: Arnoud and Marlise at Boulder City in glorious Southern Utah. This begins the long climp up Boulder Mountain. Arnault and Marlise were truly a delight as they shared the many stories and experiences of their epic journey thus far. Their sweet and gracious Dutch demeanor enhanced their charming personalities. By profession Arnault is a chemist and Marlise a nurse. But they left their careers to focus on what they called, "the more important aspects of living"--that is, (in their words), the simple basics found in nature. These are good, gentle people.
